Join Friendship Circle for a one-of-a-kind adventure. Pedal for an amazing cause that empowers a dynamic community of love, support, and belonging for individuals with special needs. Feel the excitement and thrill while riding alongside tens of fellow BKtotheBeach cyclists! You will conquer mile after mile of famous Long Island views. Friends and family will gather at the finish line to celebrate your accomplishment with you.

Fundraising

The minimum fundraising requirement is $1,800.

Your adventure begins in Brooklyn at 7 AM, followed by a scenic ride to Port Washington, NY. We’ll take breaks every 15-20 miles to refuel and recharge with snacks, drinks, and bike adjustments. After 45 miles, we’ll stop for lunch at the Babylon Masonic Lodge. We’ll finish the ride by 5 PM and return to Brooklyn together.

Route options are available, and meals will be provided.

Upon arrival, cyclists will check in, receive their BKtotheBeach gear kit, and drop off their go bags. Extra items like clothing, sunscreen, and snacks can be left with the SAG vehicle, accessible along the route and at lunch.

Bike mechanics will be available at the start and along the route for adjustments and minor repairs. For major issues, we can help locate a nearby bike shop.

11:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Mid-Ride Lunch Break

2:00-6:00 PM: Post-Ride Recovery Meal and Finish Line Celebration

6:00 PM: Return Ride to Brooklyn

Several vehicles, including SAG vehicles and WFA responders, will support the bike route. Cyclists can contact guides for a pick-up if they need a break, are running out of time, or experience bike issues. Riders will be spread out based on their individual speeds.

Most travel will be by bike on clearly marked routes, accessible through the Ride with GPS app. We recommend cycling to the start line, with return rides to Brooklyn available after the event.

All meals will be strictly kosher and crafted to provide cyclists with the sufficient energy for the ride. A hearty breakfast will be served before the ride, a balanced lunch during the ride, and a hot dinner after.
